How We Got Started...Glen Bryant, Founder
Welcome to Bryant Electric Ltd., the leading Electrical Contractor in Prince George and Terrace, BC. Since our inception in 1960 by Glen Bryant, we have established ourselves as a cornerstone of the electrical contracting industry, known for our reliability, expertise, and commitment to excellence.
Glen Bryant, a pioneering Electrical Contractor in Prince George, relocated here in 1951. Initially headed to Kenny Dam for employment, he instead secured a position in the electrical trade with a local contractor. After years of honing his skills with various electrical contracting companies in Prince George, Glen founded Bryant Electric, initially focusing on residential and smaller commercial projects. His dedication to quality and service laid the groundwork for our now thriving Electrical Contracting Company.
New Generations...
In 1996 business operations were transferred to the second generation of Bryants, when brothers Gary and Darcy along with Gary’s wife Sylvia took over the operations. Together with their dedicated team they developed new strategies and grew the company to new heights and expanded their services and service area, specializing in Commercial, Institutional and Multi Unit Residential.
In 2004 Bryant Electric welcomed Sarah Walker the daughter of Gary and Sylvia to the team and in 2015 she became the 3rd generation Bryant to be part owner of the company. Bryant Electric is extremely proud to be a 3rd generation company.
To The West...
In the spring of 2005, we expanded out west and opened a branch in Terrace, B.C. this allowed Bryant Electric to widen our customer base and bring quality work to the area. Since opening the Terrace branch, Bryant Electric has become the #1 electrical contracting company for both large and small projects serving Prince George, Terrace and surrounding areas.
With the addition of dedicated service departments in both Prince George and Terrace we have been able to secure multiple national accounts taking care of all areas of our customers needs.
Corporate Evolution
On February 8, 1963, Bryant Electric Ltd. was incorporated under the Business Corporations Act of British Columbia, marking a new chapter as a formally recognized and reputable Electrical Contracting Company. Since then, we have evolved into a highly regarded firm, serving a wide range of electrical needs across commercial, institutional, industrial, and multi-unit residential sectors.
